Annabel Yeo

With a passion to help others, she often volunteers to be an emcee in non profit events at her local church which allows young children from different cultural backgrounds to learn . In high school, she developed an interest in debate and joined the school debate’s team for two years which emerged as state champion and managed to make their way through nationals in 2017. Annabel continued to host different events in high school and college as a member of the board in various clubs such as her high school’s librarian board and Sunway Medical Sciences Club , allowing her to establish great interpersonal skills.
Her journey as a college ambassador for Malaysia Medic International Young Medics has created endless opportunities for her to aid aspiring medics in finding the right path for themselves. Apart from debate and hosting events, she bakes as a hobby and even utilises her passion to start a small charity in order to help financially disabled people during the lockdown period. She also plays both the violin and piano during her free time.
She believes everyone should be given a chance in expressing themselves and confidence should never be a barrier to success. “To start believing in yourself is better than none at all, no matter how behind you are.” :)
