Coming from a girl who loves the thrill of gaining new knowledge, Suraya has involved herself in the school debate team and advanced to state level.  She also emerged as the runner-up for her state’s NILAM competition which puts an emphasis on the habit of reading. 

 

Aside from being dedicated to look out for others and help people find their passion, she is also a very assertive person. She always stands her ground when it comes to her own judgements and ideas.   She has been a fan of geosocial, political and history books, as they spark her intellectual curiosity.She will most likely be seen at the thrift stores around town, to spice up her wardrobe as she is all about supporting sustainable fashion. She also enjoys scavenging for new music and watching movies as a form of coping mechanism in these challenging times
